UKLPG’s response regarding qualifications or accreditations for the repair and maintenance of Automotive LPG Systems is as follows:
There is no formal industry training to cover this application and as far as we aware there are no recognised qualifications or accreditations for engineers carrying our repairs & maintenance on FLT’s. we would suggest that your member contacts the FLT manufacturer to ask if they carry out product training. The engineers under general H&S law would need to be competent to carry out work.
