Warburtons partnered with ADM Automation to resolve the major logistics challenge of safely and efficiently moving heavy bakery dollies across large warehouse spaces. ADM deployed the iCart i-Series AGV – a modular, side-connecting vehicle that transports loads without lifting, mirroring human handling but with greater precision and safety. Following a successful pilot in 2024, the rollout expanded in 2025 with 11 more iCarts in operation.
At REHAU’s Runcorn facility, Hubtex UK delivered a bespoke intralogistics solution to handle long, heavy loads in narrow aisles. Central to the project was the PhoeniX MQ40 2830 SO, which is a multidirectional electric sideloader that lifts 6m, 1250kg stillages to 11.6m heights within 2.02m aisles. Integrated with REHAU’s warehouse layout and coding system, it features radar-guided Aisle Entry Assist, Load Manager with 199 pre-set levels, and dual-camera visibility.

The collaboration between Logistex and John Lewis Partnership has not only met but exceeded expectations, paving the way for a new era of efficient, eco-friendly, and customer-focused warehouse management.
