Membership of the UKMHA offers many benefits to members. One of the most important is access to professional help with a variety of HR matters.
The UKMHA retains the services of a full HR consultancy, which is available to help members with any HR or employment law issues they may encounter.
Services include:
- Access to a telephone helpline or email providing general HR/Employment advice*
- Access to a bespoke Members Toolkit – a huge repository of template letters, flow charts and guidance documents covering almost every aspect of HR from disciplinary to policy statements and much more. It has been designed to be very comprehensive and is of huge value to members
- Regular updates to HR policies and procedures as changes occur
- A free monthly HR/Employment newsletter
*up to a maximum of 60 minutes per member each year – excluding Toolkit advice. If members require additional help beyond the 60 minutes of general support, they will be charged at an hourly rate of £95.00 per hour. Any additional costs will be agreed with members in advance and if necessary, a separate HR Services agreement will be issued to continue with specialised support.
To comply with liability insurance all members seeking advice will be sent a short document advising them of GDPR requirements and the nature of the HR support given.
