The learner will be competent in the following:

• LPG Safety
• Basic principles of LPG
• Identify individual components and explain their functionality
• LPG storage
• Basic ignition systems
• Systems sensors
• Functionality of an electronic control unit on LPG trucks
• Common faults associated with LPG powered lift trucks

Knowledge assessment to be completed
Certificate of competence to be issued
Revalidation required every 5 years – ID card issued
