Introduction to First Aid

The learner will gain a thorough understanding of:

• Scene Survey – Hazard Awareness
• Managing an Emergency Situation – Contacting the Emergency Services
• Airway Management
• Management of an Unconscious Casualty – Recovery Position
• Non-Breathing Casualty – CPR
• AED – Awareness of Defibrillators
• Burns & Scalds – Including Chemical and Electrical
• Crush Injuries

Certificate of attendance to be issued

Duration: Half day (morning and afternoon sessions available)
