The 2024 campaign explored what actions should be taken before, during and after a forklift incident. Supported by the slogan ‘Prevent – Manage – Learn’, the campaign ran between June and December and focused on the seven stages of the forklift incident cycle, with each stage representing a specific strategy for ensuring the safe use of material handling equipment.
Stretching NFSD 2024 over a seven-month period helped us to strengthen our commitment to make every day National Forklift Safety Day. In specific dates across the seven months fresh information and engaging content was released to help the industry better understand the incident cycle.
Due to the extended length of the campaign, the prolonged release of crucial information helped enhance workplace safety and minimise the impact of any relevant incident.
