Noblelift – Ban Ngai Alliance Strengthens with 2,500-Unit Scissor Lift Order

The partnership between Noblelift and Ban Ngai, one of Southeast Asia’s leading equipment rental companies, has reached a new milestone with the signing of a strategic order agreement for 2,500 new Noblelift scissor lifts. Headquartered in Malaysia, Ban Ngai currently manages a fleet of more than 3,300 aerial machines and 400+ forklifts and reach trucks across Southeast Asia. With existing orders, the fleet is expected to grow to over 5,000 aerial machines by the end of Q1 2027. This will place them among the top three rental providers across key Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines, with plans to enter Vietnam and Singapore in the short to medium term.

The partnership between Ban Ngai and Noblelift began more than 20 years ago with hand pallet trucks and has since expanded to include Noblelift’s full range of material handling equipment and aerial lifts. On January 16, a formal signing ceremony was held at the Noblelift headquarters in Changxing, Zhejiang. This year’s total order is estimated to be USD 25 million, and consists mainly of scissor lifts, forklifts and reach trucks, with major equipment improvements such as full electrophoresis coatings for the entire scissor lift, high-capacity lithium-ion batteries that exceed the industry standards, improved structure and components to create a more rigid and functional machine that will withstand years of demanding use on construction sites. The value of this order exceeds the total procurement value between the two parties over the past year and represents a significant expansion of Ban Ngai’s existing fleet.

The entire Noblelift-Ban Ngai fleet of scissor lifts will be equipped with Noblelift’s proprietary telematics system, enabling location mapping, geofencing, remote locking and troubleshooting, integrated with Ban Ngai’s MCS ERP system, thus creating a stable, efficient, and cohesive digital infrastructure to deliver quality services to customers throughout the region and facilitate the scaling up of Ban Ngai’s fleet and operations.

The strategic agreement further strengthens Ban Ngai’s position as one of the fastest-growing MEWP rental groups in Southeast Asia, while also reflecting strong market recognition of Noblelift’s competitiveness in the scissor lift segment. It further reinforces the foundation of mutual trust and product alignment between the two companies, and lays a solid foundation for Ban Ngai’s global expansion strategy, which includes an existing Noblelift sole distributorship in Nigeria, and planned new operations in Ghana and Bissau soon.
