Must have successfully completed: “Lift Truck Electrical Training Part 1”

• The learner will gain a thorough understanding of and be able to:
• Explain the difference between DC and AC circuits.
• Interpret RMS measurements
• Describe the functionality of a can-bus circuit and how to measure resistance and interpret voltage values.
• Identify components and describe the operation of an AC motor
• Describe methods for testing AC motors and AC controllers.
• Explain the operation of converting battery voltage to AC voltage
• Explain the purpose of encoders and perform component testing
• Interpret wiring diagrams and perform tests to verify system is operating correctly
