Course Training Instructions

Working in conjunction with North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College, all UKMHA engineering courses take place at NWSLC.

Payment

Payment for all courses must be received 14 days prior to attendance. Cancellations are permitted but please note that refunds will not be offered. Instead, a credit for the same amount will be issued that can be applied to the next available course. 

Timings

All courses start at 09.00am and finish by 5:00pm each day.

If travelling by car, please be aware that roads in the area are very busy during rush hour. To avoid delays, we recommend planning to arrive by 8:30am. Alternatively, you can book accommodation for the night prior. 

In the event of a travel delay engineers/delegates should contact the training centre directly on 0330 058 3383 providing the course’s title and expected arrival time. 

Documentation

Candidates for the Thorough Examination course must be certified in advance by senior representatives of their company. Details of this requirement and a copy of the form are available here.  

Dress

Dress for all courses is casual dress. For TE Course clean boots, overalls and high vis jacket/vest are required for the workshop activities.

Refreshments

Refreshments and lunch are included in the cost of all courses. Lunch will be provided either by way of a lunch bag or a buffet (depending on latest Covid-19 guidance)

We recommend the following local hotels if you require overnight accomodation. Please book directly with the hotel.

Accommodation books up quickly, so it is recommended that reservations are made as soon as the course booking is confirmed.
