The Archies – This time it’s personal!

8th July Deadline closing in as UKMHA seeks nominations for exceptional individuals

With an 8th July closing date for nominations for the Archies 2022, organisers UKMHA are keen to remind everyone that, in addition to an expanded range of product categories, there are three prestigious individual and team awards up for grabs.

They are:

Apprentice of the Year recognises a second-year student who, in the opinion of the judges, has demonstrated an exemplary enthusiasm for the industry. Nominations can be made by employers and by appropriate representatives from colleges

Services to the Industry is presented to an individual who has devoted their career to the materials handling industry, demonstrating exceptional service and dedication. Nominations can be made by anyone (including the nominee).

Dealer of the Year is open to dealer members of UKMHA and will be awarded to a company operating its business to the highest standards. Anyone can make a nomination, including the company itself.

  • Ancillary Product Innovation of the Year
  • Safe Site Award
  • Manufacturer Safety Product of the Year
  • Ancillary Safety Product of the Year
  • Environmental Product of the Year
  • Ergonomics Award
  • UKMHA Dealer of the Year
  • Apprentice of the Year
  • Services to the Industry (Individual)

Entries will be judged by an independent jury with an intimate and expert knowledge of the material handling industry. Finalists will be announced in September 2022.

Winners will be revealed at an Oscars-style event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Saturday 15th October 2022. (Make a note in your diary: tickets will go on sale soon!)
