Nominations have now closed

We are inviting nominations for the most important awards in the materials handling industry: The Archies.

It’s your opportunity to showcase your latest and greatest achievements. Entering is straightforward, totally free and open to all (you are encouraged to nominate your own business).

Nominations are for products, services or other initiatives launched/brought to market between 1st January 2021 and 30th June 2022. Closing date extended for entries to: 8th July 2022.

Innovation

Manufacturer Product Innovation of the Year

This award is open to manufacturers of material handling equipment.

This award is open to manufacturers of ancillary products used in the material handling industry.

Safety

Safe Site Award

This award is open to any company that operates forklift and warehouse trucks who have introduced a new initiative to significantly improve materials handling safety.

This award is open to manufacturers of material handling equipment whose product or other initiative can make a significant contribution to safety

Ancillary – Safety Product of the Year

This award is open to manufacturers of ancillary products used in the material handling industry.

Environment

Environmental Product of the Year

This award is open to manufacturers of all material handling products that have made a significant contribution to reducing emissions, increasing sustainability etc.

Ergonomics Award

Open to manufacturers of materials handling or ancillary equipment that increases productivity and improves the user experience.

Company and Individual 

UKMHA Dealer of the Year

Open to dealers members of UKMHA considered to operate their businesses to the highest standards.

Apprentice of the Year

This award is presented to a second-year student who, in the opinion of the judges, has demonstrated an exemplary enthusiasm for the industry. Displaying a good work ethic and attitude they will have achieved a thorough understanding of lift truck technologies and developed skills of a standard commensurate with their current stage of learning, within a formal, forklift truck apprenticeship scheme. 

Nominations can be made by employers and by appropriate representatives from colleges.

Services to the Industry

This award is presented to an individual who has devoted their career to the materials handling industry, demonstrating exceptional service and dedication.

Supplier of the Year

This category involves all UKMHA supplier members who will be, by default, added to a long list that will be voted upon by UKMHA Members.

Save The Date!

The winners will be unveiled on Saturday 15th October 2022 in a glittering Oscars-style ceremony at the Hilton Metropole NEC. Compered by a celebrity host, it is guaranteed to be a night to remember with three-course dinner, entertainment and the best after-show party ever!
